My Favourite Fitness Websites
Although this blog is a fantastic fitness resource there are a number of other fitness blogs and websites that I recommend you check out. I’ve detailed them in this list and will be adding more to this list as I come across them.
Diethack
Diethack is an excellent blog from Gyanish Gungaram covering a variety of topics in the health and fitness niche. He updates it regularly with well researched, fully referenced articles. The thing I really like about this blog is that all the articles contain further references at the end, should you wish to do additional reading on the article topic. You can visit Diethack using the link below.
My Diet, Health and Fitness
My Diet, Health and Fitness is Erika’s blog about her journey towards better health and fitness. It’s different to most of the blogs out there because it takes a look at diet and exercise from a beginners viewpoint. You can visit My Diet, Health and Fitness using the link below.

The Fitness Black Book
The Fitness Black Book is one of my favourite fitness blogs because it comes with a serious dose of humour. Rusty is a funny guy and even the serious posts come with a humourous caption on the accompanying picture. He is an advocate of the more slender, toned Hollywood look and against excessive muscle. His personality really comes through in his posts and it is always an interesting read. You can visit The Fitness Black Book using the link below.

Wellness Junction
Wellness Junction is a fitness blog by health enthusiast Kavit Haria. It is regularly updated with articles on a variety of health and fitness issues and contains some useful information.
I am a guest blogger at Wellness Junction and I try to contribute a new article every couple of weeks, so apart from absorbing Kavit’s wisdom you can also enjoy unique guest articles from me. You can visit Wellness Junction using the link below.

Wellsphere
Wellsphere is a fantastic community fitness website with too many resources to list here. There’s blogs, forums, news article, videos and more and all the users come together to help each other achieve their fitness goals. You can take a look at Wellsphere using the link below.
Workin On My Fitness
Workin On My Fitness is a blog from the point of view of Sue. Sue never thought she would need to exercise because she was always skinny but after college she soon found herself gaining weight. She started Workin On My Fitness based on the lyrics in a song by Fergie and maintains it for the motivation to exercise. It’s an interesting read which you can check out using the link below.

World Dental Health
Dental Health is an area of health that is neglected by many fitness blogs. Thankfully, Alex Bo’s World Dental Health blog has this topic more than adequately covered. It’s full of informative articles on dentists, jaws & bones, oral hygiene, teeth and much more. If you are looking for dental advice, clinics or treatments then this blog is one of the best resources I have found on the topic and is most definitely worth a read. You can visit World Dental Health by clicking the link below.

At the blog covers the core components of diet and exercise whilst also covering topics such as motivation and mindset. There’s some really great posts here and I recommend you pay her blog a visit.

This is a great resource from GiGi. This blog is not just about physical anti-aging. It deals with keeping the inside of your body healthy as you age too. So not only is it a great resource for those who want to reverse the aging process as much as possible but it also contains lots of health tips that we can also benefit from. Plus, GiGi has also put together a fantastic, free electronic report entitled ‘Healthy Aging’ which you can download from her blog right now.

Small Steps to Health
Small Steps to Health is a fantastic blog from Asithi. All of her posts are well researched and really interesting to read. They range from tasty recipes, quick tips and go on to more detailed discussions on health topics. I particularly enjoyed her posts on the health differences between men and women. These were quite surprising and I definitely learnt something new from reading them.

All Muscle Building
A blog from freelance writer and blogger Pat who has an interest in muscle building and bodybuilding. It contains a great mix of muscle building advice, product reviews and nutritional recommendations. In particular, I found Pat’s post on green tea helping recovery particularly insightful. I was well aware of the health benefits green tea had to offer before reading but was completely oblivious to the possibility that it could help post-workout recovery.

Hi Tom,
I think you have some great sites in here to visit other than yours. Your choices of “Favourite Fitness Websites” was quite thoughtful. You just didn’t slap just anything down there, you investigated them for sure. Also I do agree that your blog is a fantastic fitness resource, and very interesting too!
Thanks Skye B. I think part of blogging is to integrate the work of others which is why I set up this page. By doing this you get a much better overall picture of the fitness community. There’s lots of valuable information out there and it’s too much for one blog or person to communicate alone.
