Glad to hear your success story Mike. I imagine what has happened is that taking the vitamin C strengthened your immune system. Therefore, it was able to fight off some of the cold viruses which it was previously not strong enough to fight.

Yes, it helped me to avoid a cold for over 13 months! And I exercise extremely in -5F temps and am exposed to all kinds of sick people. Note that taking Vitamin C after getting a cold never did much for me. Instead, I started getting my Vitamin C daily (as in EVERY day) from a 12 oz glass of orange juice and a multivitamin. See my post about my Vitamin C experience at http://www.sciaticabackpainrelief.com/health/vitamins/vitamin-c-get-it/" .

Thanks Andrew. There's still plenty of scope for you to do a post as there's plenty more vitamin C related information I haven't covered here.

Tom,

Unbelievable!!! You beat me again, hahaha. I've been meaning to write a post on the fact that loading up on vitamin C can't prevent the common cold. Bravo! This is a great article because it shows why still getting your DV of C is important!

All the Best,

Thanks Heidi. With vitamin C and chapped lips it isn't going to work miracles. Overdosing won't make them heal any faster. However, if you are not getting enough then your lips won't heal as quickly as they could.

As for the design I used Revolution Sports and then modified it a bit. Since I got this theme they have released some Revolution Version 2 themse which look pretty snazzy.
